The Center for Operator Performance is a collaborative project consisting of companies from the automation community and those who specialize in human factors. The Center's objective is to research and help guide initiatives to maximize the safety and productivity of humans involved in process control operations.

This presentation, delivered by the current Center Chairperson Mark Nixon, was given at the 2008 ExperTune - TiPS User Conference to introduce the Center's purpose and to cultivate participation.
